poem Wane and Wax
WANE AND WAX
Summer’s technically
through. September masquerades.
Burns, but it’s all fall.
And spring in all its
blessed symmetry, tickling
our antipodes.
Twisting our equal
nights full polar. Highest noon
resetting the Moon.
