Aweekstweets February 8-27 2016: the weeks I bid farewell to early February

I'm expecting LinkedIn someday to allow me to endorse people for their endorsing skills. Many people specialize in that.

Whenever some new tech breakthrough said to "revolutionize computing as we know it," I look for caveat "if it ever gets reliable & cheap"

RT @kexpplaylist #kexp How Can You Say It by Gloria Ann Taylor from Love Is A Hurtin' Thing JK--1975. A hauntingly poignant slice of soul.

I've noticed that my Twitter impressions spike every time I participate in a Crowdchat. Amazing burst of target attention. Very effective.

Have decided to permanently unpin Google+ from my Hootsuite streams. I've found it entirely useless for connecting and promoting.

Enjoyed “The Martian.” Basic storyline is about growing potatoes in an infertile field fertilized by your own feces. Yeah, I been there.

Let the record show that, while working the conference last week, I authored 5 articles & 2 detailed interview responses. I wrote the record

Latest spam headline that caught my attention: "work-at-home jobs filling fast." Really? No more homes available? How about the shelters?

"Storytelling may be th secret to creating ethical AI" (http://ow.ly/YO9y6 ) JK--Machine-learning reading diff cultures' morality tales?

RT @kexpplaylist #kexp Quick Canal (feat. Laetitia Sadier) by Atlas Sound from Logos JK--2009. Her fluty voice over a warm electronic rush.

RT @kexpplaylist #kexp The Plain Moon by The Besnard Lakes from A Coliseum Complex Museum JK--2016. Good new one from the Montreal group.

Was given a selfie stick. I do a lot of selfies, but I'm not sure what to do with this. Self-flagellation? Not photogenic.

RT @kexpplaylist #kexp Brighter by Rufus Du Sol from Bloom JK--Got a nice chill soul roll to it.

I suppose they call it the Iowa “caucus” because it’s mostly Caucasians. Prove to me that I am wrong.

Downloaded a meditation app. I set it to speak to me with an Aussie accent. Down Under folks have a sunny-chill vibe that sits right with me

I'm flattered but always decline when someone requests that I speak on intersection of big data with some random other topic. I'd sound dumb

The only thing that Donald Trump & I have in common is that neither of us is particularly fond of Fox News. That's not enough.

No fresh winter wonderland this weekend. But I do find a scary noirish romance in the gray filthy piles of icy doom along all the roadways.

Somebody in Germany, addressing me as “Professor Kobielus,” has asked me to contribute to a book. Thanks, but I have mid-terms to grade.

Down with a cold. Or rather, up & doing my usual stuff, but with a cold. I’m rarely sick. Keeping noncontagious distance from people at mall

30-something guy on mall restzone sofa next to me regaling seemingly 90-something guy wearing Korean War vet cap with his Iraq War exploits

Sampling wine at Wegman’s. I’ve become quite the connoisseur. Preferred vintage is anything they offer in those tiny little cups for free.
