Aweekstweets September 21-27 2014: the week I finally got the hang of it

Summer isn't over till I have absolutely no good excuse for not putting my short pants, T-shirts, and sandals in storage for another year.

The older I get, the less in-love I am with earbuds. I prefer to hear music playing out from speakers. Almost any speakers.

Attention deficit disorder. We’re always told it defines connected culture. Then how to explain binge watching? Attention surfeit disorder

People in fatigues at the grocery store. A typical sight in an eastern Fairfax County community. We live 5 miles north of an army base

Looking forward to re-launching the #IBM Data magazine website. Greatly improved. Imminent. October.

Fall filling up with speaking engagements: Las Vegas, Santa Clara, Istanbul, Orlando. And even one here back home: Arlington. Diverse topics

Even dispassionate discussion of Global warming from a data science perspective tends to bring out the ideological comments. Not going there

Reasonably good week. Accomplished pretty much everything I wanted to. When I wanted to accomplish most was making it to weekend. Done!
