mastered and forgotten an unholy load of plodding tech jargon.

That's somebody who speaks like a parrot, right? Do they have any vocabulary
other than stating that they "want a cracker"?
Annoyed
by the ambiguous phrase "for the rest of us." Could refer to the 1%
as much as to the 99%. Which group does speaker identify with?
